Using 宁榆 Niyu
Niyu’s interface is in Chinese; the labels in quotes below are what you will see on screen.
Step 01 — Import your first report
Open the “报告” (Reports) tab and tap “拍一份报告”. Photograph a paper report with “拍照”, pick a screenshot with “从相册导入”, or choose a file with “导入PDF”. Import all pages of one report together and they are merged into one report.
Step 02 — Check what was recognized
After recognition you land on “OCR识别结果”. Check the hospital, report date and report type first, along with “标本类型” (specimen) and “采样日期” (sampling date) — points on a trend use the sampling date, or the report date when there isn’t one. Then go through the recognized items: edit any number directly, and for orange “待确认” items tap “对照原图” to compare with the page, then “确认无误” when it matches. Turn off “纳入趋势” for items you don’t want in your trends; items the dictionary does not recognize are left out by default, and turning the switch on records them under the name printed on the report. Finally tap “确认保存”.
CT and pathology reports are not broken into results. Instead the review screen shows “报告原文” with two sections — “检查所见” (findings) and “诊断印象” (impression) — prefilled with the recognized text, which you can edit.
Step 03 — Follow how results change
The “指标” (Metrics) tab lists the results you follow, with current value, last value, change and test date at a glance. Open a result to see its trend chart; every value leads back to the report and page it came from.
For a number printed on an imaging or pathology report — a lesion’s largest diameter, say — add it yourself under “自己标的跟踪项” in the report detail: give it a name, a value and a unit. Use the same name on later reports and they line up as one trend.
Step 04 — Record your treatment
On the “过程” (Process) tab tap “记录一件事” to note a test, medication, symptom or conversation with your doctor. For medication you can record start, pause, resume and stop; the top of the page shows days on medication and days paused, counted from your records.
Step 05 — Prepare for your appointment
On the “整理” (Organize) tab choose the period and what to include, write your questions under “这次想问医生”, tap “生成医生参考摘要”, then copy the text or export a PDF to show your doctor.
Step 06 — Adjust the display
Tap the top-right corner to open “设置与隐私” (Settings & Privacy). Choose whether result names show abbreviation plus Chinese, Chinese only, or abbreviation only, and see how many reports are stored and how much space the images use.
