Using WishStamp

Step 01 — Open WishStamp and meet your first stamp

The first time you launch the app, a short three-page onboarding explains the core ritual: create a stamp, hold the center seal to stamp it, and let the result settle into your album. After you finish it, the home screen shows a sample paper-stamp card that you can use to try out sealing right away.

Step 02 — Make a stamp from a photo, library image, link, or clipboard

Tap Create in the bottom-left to open the creation screen. Switch between Camera, Photos, and Shared Content at the bottom. In Camera, tap Capture to take a photo, then drag the corner of the frame to choose how much of the photo becomes the stamp; tap Generate Stamp to finish. From Photos or shared content, drag the photo inside the stamp window to reposition it, then generate.

Step 03 — Pick a postmark and hold to seal

Back on the home screen, your new stamp sits in the center, waiting. Tap the round seal once at the bottom to open the Choose a Postmark sheet — pick something from any theme pack (Travel Journal, Slow Living, Rail Journey, or Starlight Letter). Now long-press the same seal: the progress ring fills, a postmark lands on the corner of the stamp, and the card moves into your album.

Step 04 — Browse and filter your album

Tap Album in the bottom-right to see your sealed stamps in a 3-column grid. The filter icon in the top right opens Filter Album, where you can narrow by postmark pattern and by whether the date is shown on the seal. If a filter leaves nothing visible, the empty state shows Clear Filters so you can return to the full album in one tap.

Step 05 — Edit notes, manage places, and archive

Open any stamp from the album to see its detail screen. Tap the title or the note row to edit them. From the More menu you can choose Edit Note, Delete Place (removes only this stamp’s place), Archive Stamp (hides it from the album but keeps it in Archived Stamps), or Delete Stamp. The top-right share button creates a text summary of the stamp you can send anywhere.

Step 06 — Adjust the ritual in Settings

The gear icon on the home screen opens Settings. Useful switches:

• Stamp Intensity — how present the postmark feels (Light / Medium / Bold).
• Show Date — whether the postmark adds a small date.
• Seal Cooldown — how long the seal button rests after each stamp.
• Stamp Sound — the short sound on a completed long-press.
• Default Frame — the starting size of the capture frame.
• Record Places — turn off to stop reading photo GPS and stop requesting your current location for new stamps.
